Kehinde Silk Tulle Dress
This variant is currently sold out
The Kehinde Silk Tulle Dress by Nigerian brand Fruché is clearly not made for shy and retiring types. Taking its name from one of the designations given to twins at birth in the Yoruba culture, the Kehinde dress is a part of the brand’s “Ibeji” collection. It’s made by hand in Lagos from tufts of tulle fabric draped over a silk lining and features a flattering halter neckline and side cutouts for a truly striking look. It requires little else apart from a pair of strappy heels and a chic clutch bag to complete the high-impact ensemble.

Fruché was founded in 2014 by Frank Aghuno. The brand aims to explore rich, historical, futuristic and modern progressive stories that challenge the notion that Nigeran/African women and men are expected to look and dress a certain way. Fruché is a mix of traditional Nigerian culture, heritage, and artisanal techniques and contemporary design. The brand embodies a unique sensibility that seamlessly combines and outspoken narrative and a bold sensuality that is luxuriously modern.
