The Folklore Connect Announces The Launch of Bôhten Eyewear at Shopbop

The Folklore Connect is thrilled to announce that it has successfully launched its first brand on Shopbop. Eyewear brand Bôhten is now stocked and available to purchase at the online retail destination for style inspiration and discovery. The Toronto-based eyewear brand was discovered by Shopbop’s buyers through The Folklore Connect and joins the retailer’s curated selection of ready-to-wear and accessories designers.

A selection of Bôhten’s best-selling sunglasses and optical frames, such as the Abana Olive Sun, Barklae III Chalbi Sun, and Manyara Marmalade are now live and ready to shop on the site. The brand also created a customized version of its Jade Sun frames with brown gradient lenses, which are exclusively available on Shopbop.

As one of seven premium retail partners that signed up to The Folklore Connect in 2022, Shopbop is committed to using the platform to fuel its supplier diversity goals, by working towards increasing representation of the Black community across its organization, in the brands it carries and the partners it works with.
