The Shop is part of The Folklore’s efforts to support independent brands looking to scale their global footprint and to inspire consumers to shop with purpose. It’s a destination for conscious consumers to discover and shop a selection of diverse, sustainable, and independent brands from emerging markets in South Africa, India, and Colombia, as well as established markets such as New York, London, and Paris.

The Folklore Shop provides a seamless shopping experience, connecting global customers with a curated selection of diverse, sustainable, and innovative independent brands spanning over 40 countries. The products available to shop are from The Folklore’s extensive network of 700+ brand members. The Folklore Shop offers brands an opportunity to sell to a worldwide audience in an easier and more cost effective way and to garner more visibility from the new wave of conscious consumers.

Designed as a hub for discovery, exploration, and commerce, The Folklore Shop launches with close to 50 brands, offering customers a wide array of categories, including fashion, accessories, beauty, home goods, wellness, hygiene, and children’s products.

First launched by The Folklore Group in April 2022 as part of its conglomerate of B2B, consumer, and media products, the marketplace was built as a replacement for the company’s original direct-to-consumer platform. The site kicked off with products from established and emerging luxury designers across apparel, accessories, beauty and homeware.
