The Showroom will open for three days only, from Wednesday June 5 until Friday June 7.
The upcoming showcase will present the latest collections from 16 talented designers across apparel, footwear and accessories, enabling retailers to discover and source exciting products from brands in markets around the world including Kenya, South Africa, Mozambique and the US.
The brands that will be showcasing their resort collections include womenswear designers KAHINDO, Lurelly, MACONDIA, resortwear and swimwear brands Bohn Jsell, House of Aama and Nomads Swimwear, alongside menswear apparel by Boyde and The Rad Black Kids. Also on display will be luxury footwear by Kendall Miles and jewelry from Barbosa as well as handwoven accessories by Vanhu Vamwe.

“Our platform was not set up to eliminate the need for human and physical interaction, rather it was set up to streamline these interactions and make the discovery and transaction part of wholesale buying simpler and quicker,” says The Folklore’s Founder and CEO Amira Rasool. “We invite every opportunity to make the wholesale experience the best it can be for all of our users, and we find the in-person showrooms we host benefit both our brand and retail partners.”
The Folklore Showroom is by appointment only and it is open to buyers, stylists and media. To make an appointment or for more information, please contact events@thefolklore.com.
